A Lufthansa Airbus A330 diverted to Frankfurt Airport on Wednesday following an engine malfunction. This aircraft was bound for Houston in Texas on the 31st January 2024, when the flight crew began noticing signs of a problem.

Lufthansa has today placed a firm order for 40 Boeing 737-MAX 8s, as well as taking options on 60 more, as part of a wider deal that will expand the company to new highs.
