Ryanair partners with Skytanking Aviation Services, in six year deal

Ryanair announced on Monday that it has forged a new six year deal with ground servicing company Skytanking, in a bid to improve and deliver “industry-leading” turnaround times. Ryanair is Europe’s number one airline due to it’s low cost business model.

The partnership between Ryanair and Skytanking will see Skytanking support Ryanair’s growing operation across key European airports, such as Eindhoven International in the Netherlands. Ryanair operates over 3,600 daily flights, requiring efficient and cost effective ground services to operate smoothly. Ryanair’s Deputy Director of Ground Operations, Tom Kelly, said in a statement: “Ryanair is delighted to announce our new ground handling partnership with Skytanking. This initial 6-year deal will ensure that Ryanair can continue to deliver its industry-leading turnaround times, a vital part in keeping our fares low for our customers”.

Skytanking Aviation General Manager of Ground Handling, Craig Denmark, said: “The entire Skytanking Aviation Services team is excited to grow our service portfolio with Ryanair. As we continue to diversify our services and expand our ground handling footprint, our focus is on delivering exactly what Ryanair and its customers require, and that is a safe, professional, and on-time operation”.

This partnership is due to start in April 2024, which is likely to improve the experience for customers of Ryanair, as they see quicker turnaround times and an even better presence for Ryanair across Europe. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
